Marne Jensen has spent most of her life
involved in some facet of artistic expression.
After majoring in art in high school, she
continued her art education in college with a
minor in fine arts, followed by graduate
studies in art, business and psychology.
She is a published author and former owner
of a successful advertising/public relations
firm in the Seattle area. She was also a
faculty member of City University where she
taught communication, marketing and
management courses.
Marne recently returned to her native
Northwest after living the past seven years
in Sedona, Arizona, where she studied with
a variety of nationally known artists and was
a faculty member of the Sedona Arts Center.
Although her main focus is abstract mixed
media, she also enjoys the challenges and
opportunities presented by working
realistically with colored pencil and
watercolor. Her award-winning art has been
shown in a variety of juried and invitational
exhibits and is in several private collections
throughout the U.S.
