Featured artist: Katya Palladina
Katya has been a working artist since childhood, when she attended the Krasnogorsk Children's Art School in Russia, from which she graduated with honors. She continued studying art at the famous Stroganoff Art Institute, where she majored in Design and took post-graduate courses. Katya received the national award for the best Diploma work in Design in the USSR.
Professionally Katya has worked as an industrial artist and designer. Her experiences include teaching classical art and traditional Russian decorative and handmade arts.
Katya seeks harmony and balance in her work. She pays a great deal of attention to composition. Her works are impressions of the surrounding world. Katya likes to continuously challenge herself and explores working in different media, including oil, water color and acrylic paint, charcoal, pencil, wood painting, photography.
Her works are held by collectors in the United States, Russia, many countries in Europe and Asia.
